Small Groups
Two-to-one sessions last one hour and are a highly effective way to learn Italian with both personal attention and the motivation of learning alongside someone else. Perfect for friends who want to learn together or for those open to being paired with another student at the same level, this format combines personalized learning with the enjoyment of a shared experience.
You’ll collaborate, practice together, and motivate each other while progressing at a pace that suits you both.
How it works: Lessons run on a rolling monthly basis: at the end of each month, you book your lessons for the following month, keeping the same time slot and day whenever possible. Payment is made in advance of the first lesson of the month.
If one student is unable to book a lesson, the other can choose whether to take a one-to-one lesson instead (see one-to-one lessons for pricing) or skip the session. However, if one student cancels after booking, the lesson still goes ahead, and the price remains the same for the other student.
To maintain a productive learning environment, frequent cancellations or absences may lead LearnIt Cambridge to reconsider whether the group should continue in its current format. This may result in the group being adjusted or discontinued.
Flexibility is key: If you need to reschedule, just let us know at least 24 hours in advance. A new date can be arranged within the next 60 days, provided all students in the lesson agree to the change.

Three-to-one sessions last 1 hour and 30 minutes and offer an engaging and efficient way to learn Italian in a small, supportive environment. Your tutor will designe each lesson around the group's needs, balancing structure learning wirh real-life conversation, interactive activities and targeted vocabulary and grammar work.
This format allows for collaborative learning and lively interactions, where you can practice your Italian in a small group while still receiving guidance and feedback tailored to your needs. Perfect for friends who want to learn together or for those open to being paired other students at the same level. With fewer participants than in larger classes, you’ll still benefit from plenty of tutor attention while enjoying the collaborative spirit of learning alongside others. You can join with your friends and family or can be paired up with other students at the same level.
