Where We Send Your data

On the 28th of June 2021, the European Commission adopted an adequacy decision for the UK that demonstrates that the Commission believes the UK ensures an ‘essentially equivalent’ level of protection to that within the EU. The implication of these decisions is that Personal Data can now flow freely from the EU to the UK, without “any specific authorisation”.

We may store or transfer some of or all Your Personal Data in countries that are not part of the European Economic Area (the “EEA” consists of all EU member states, plus Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein). These are known as “third countries” and may not have Data Protection laws that are as strong as those in the UK and/or the EEA. This means that We will take additional steps in order to ensure that Your Personal Data is treated just as safely and securely as it would be within the UK. These measures are outlined in the following two sections (‘Sharing of Personal Data’ and ‘How We Secure Your Data’).

Sharing of Personal Data

We will not share any of the Personal Data processed by the Website with any third parties for any purposes, subject to some important exceptions:

·         In some limited circumstances We may be legally required to share Personal Data, for example if We are involved in legal proceedings or complying with legal obligations, a court order, or the instructions of a government authority;

·         Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service;

·         Recipients may have sometimes access to the Data collected.

How We Secure Your Data

We do our best to keep Your Personal Data safe. We use safe protocols for communication and transferring data (such as HTTPS). We use anonymising and pseudonymising where suitable. We monitor Our systems for possible vulnerabilities and attacks.

Even though we try our best, We cannot guarantee the security of information. However, We promise to notify suitable authorities of data breaches. We will also notify You if there is a threat to Your rights or interests. We will do everything we reasonably can to prevent security breaches and to assist authorities should any breaches occur.

If You have an account with Us, note that You have to keep Your username and password secret.
