Italian for Beginners (A1)

A relaxed evening course for complete beginners who want to start speaking Italian from day one. Over 10 weeks, you’ll learn how to greet people, introduce yourself, order at a bar or café, make small talk and describe aspects of your life, following the first units of Nuovo Espresso Plus 1, enriched with original LearnIt Cambridge materials.
The course is clear, structured, and communication-focused. You’ll build solid foundations in grammar a
nd vocabulary while working in pairs and in groups, with real-life role plays, listening tasks, cultural mini-projects, and light but effective homework. The textbook and all extra materials are included in the course fee.
You will also join our local Italian-learning community with free access to beginner-friendly cultural activities (film nights with subtitles, book clubs for beginners, tasting events, etc.). After three Terms (approx. 60 hours), you will be ready to move on to Level A2.

How Our Courses Work

Choose a course.
Select the course that suits your level and schedule.

Reserve your place.
Click “Pay Deposit to Secure Your Spot” (more than 2 weeks before the start of the course) or "Pay Now" (within 2 weeks from the start of the course). Before making any payment, please confirm that you have read and agreed to the Terms and Conditions.

Course confirmation. Around two weeks before the course begins, we confirm whether the course will run as planned and send final details to all participants.
If enough students have enrolled, the course will go ahead and you will receive instructions for settling the remaining balance.
If fewer students have enrolled, we may wait a little longer to allow additional registrations or offer an alternative format (for example online or shorter lessons). In that case, you will be notified and free to decide whether to continue. Deposits are fully refundable if the course does not go ahead.
